Very successful day walking from St Annes to Lytham along the beach and dunes, lots of light and birds just flying straight towards the camera!

One of the first shoots for my next project. Trying to take shots in an impressionist mindset....
Anyway, here are my first results.
Sanderlings sheltering from the weather on St Annes beach. 400mm, 1/500sec, f/5.6, ISO 500. Uncropped.
Black-Tailed Godwits (very endangered apparently). St Annes again. 400mm, 1/640sec, f/5.6, ISO 400. Vertically Cropped.
One more shot, not very artistic, just put it in here for the wow factor... Foreground - flock of Godwits, in focus - flock of Oystercatchers, background HUGE flock of Cormorants!!!!!! 400mm, 1/500sec, f/5.6, ISO 400. Vertically Cropped.
